In line with international trends, BT are replacing the old Public Switched Telephone Network by an Internet Protocol based networking solution. Along with this trend is a move to Voice over IP being used by large and increasingly small businesses now. Voice over IP is run across common networking infrastructure in offices, and subsequently across the Internet to destinations on and off the Internet.
Simply Better IT are able to integrate this development by deploying appropriate VoIP phone networks for small businesses, and use Broadband Internet connections for free phone calls. Phone calls can then be made to anyone else on the Internet who has a VoIP phone connection for free, or at local call rates if the receiving party uses the normal phone network. Massive savings can be made for heavy or international phone users.
This Voice over IP can also be integrated into the new Microsoft Exchange server.
